I’m currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Within the computer engineering space I’ve become particularly fascinated with web development, specifically creating experiential apps and components to foster better user experiences.
Despite these interests, I began my career in ECE at UT knowing relatively little about computing and engineering; after starting the program with a limited knowledge base, it was imperative to hone personal skills such as time management and communication, sharpening my work ethic along the way to continue on the path towards graduation. I’m thankful for the experiences that have shaped me into a better learner.
Now, on the brink of graduation, I have a good grasp of programming languages like Java and Python, understand web development frameworks like ReactJS, have worked with embedded systems like the TI RSLK, and possess fundamental knowledge in software engineering, requirements, and testing. Dapsolüt was created with the idea of giving an aesthetic representation to the community surrounding fixed gear bikes. Over the course of drafting the initial designs, I realized Dapsolüt could mean so much more.
My vision for Dapsolüt is to represent a brand intertwined with pop culture, reflecting the state of the world and society that my audience can identify with. The name embodies an inherent dedication to visual pleasure and design, thus Dapsolüt can also be referred to as an art collective. I plan to continue developing the aesthetic of the brand through digital art, releasing artwork in the form of clothing, music, posters, stickers, and more in the future. My goal is to create designs that are pervasive across all mediums, thus enhancing the brand and allowing my audience to express themselves through imagery.
